Non-skilled support shaped around one person's particular needs, so living independently stays realistic.

Tell us what is going on. We will be straight with you about whether non-medical home care is the right answer, and we will say so if it is not.
Plan
We visit, we listen, and we write the service plan with you. You get the hours, the tasks, and the full cost in writing before anything begins.
Match
We assign a caregiver whose skills and temperament suit you, and a supervisor keeps checking that the match is still working.

Letting somebody into the house is the hardest part of accepting help. Here is exactly what happens before a caregiver is ever assigned to you, and none of it is optional.
- A face-to-face interview and two verified referencesEvery reference is a real, checkable reference from someone who is not a relative, confirming the person can do this work.
- Pennsylvania State Police criminal history reportObtained before hire, reviewed against the disqualifying offences set out in the regulations, and kept on file.
- ChildLine clearance where it appliesRequired whenever a caregiver may serve a consumer under 18.
- Tuberculosis screening before any home visitCompleted before the first assignment and documented in the caregiver's file.
You keep the say in your own care
Pennsylvania gives every home care consumer a specific set of protections. We would rather you knew them up front than found out about them in a bad moment.
- You help build the planYou are involved in service planning, and the plan bends to your preferences and routine wherever that is reasonable.
- Ten days written notice, minimumIf we ever needed to stop serving you, you get at least 10 calendar days advance written notice in writing.
- Everything in writing before care startsServices, who is coming, hours, and the full hourly and weekly cost, in a packet you can read and keep.
- A complaint route that does not run through usYou can call the Department of Health or your local Ombudsman at any time. We are not permitted to retaliate, and we will not.
